Fifteen Months!

This monthly inventory is delayed by a persistent bug that has taken up residence deep in the lungs of all three of us. Bronchitis seized the Webkins: first Barb, then Jeremy, and finally me. We have been frequent fliers to Kaiser over the past two weeks. Hopefully, the bounty of prescribed pharmaceuticals will have us back to 100% soon. Meanwhile, our coughs could compete with the brays of a drove of mad donkeys.

But, Mister Jeremy is fifteen months old! A snapshot today includes:
  • Walking, prancing and dancing, but often with reckless abandon and frequent spills.
  • A total of 11 teeth, at random places in his mouth. For instance, he doesn't have his top right lateral incisor yet, but a lower cuspid, two lower molars, and an upper molar are coming in.
  • An addiction to song selections from the Sound of Music before bedtime. Every night.
  • A love of the bucket swings and the slides at the park, including a determination if not the ability to walk up the slide.
  • Mastery of the letter B, and spontaneously using words like "bottle," "bubble," "bye-bye," "balloon," "bana" (for banana). He also says, "water," "clock," and "dat" accompanied by a pointed index finger for anything else he wants.
  • An apparent fondness for songs in 3/4 or 6/8 time.
  • An increasing attachment to his blanket and his pacifier.
  • Stacking blocks, including his Legos.
  • A fascination for the Native American flute.
  • Throwing the ball for the dogs.
  • A somewhat limited food list. Anything orange or yellow tends to pass muster.
  • A keen ability to communicate his prefered routine.
