Big Boy

The high chair sits pushed over against the wall gathering cobwebs and dust bunnies. High chairs are for babies. Jeremy sits at the table now.

Jeremy reached another peak today. For months he has lamented his inability to climb up the face of the slides like the big kids. This afternoon at the park, he set his sights toward the top of the smallest 4-foot-tall slide, and after a couple of warm-up attempts, he did it! He climbed up to the top and flashed an ear to ear grin. Not to rest on his laurels, he immediately turned around, slid down the slide, and ran right past the medium slide and over to the tall slide. And climbed right up!
