I am the luckiest gal on earth, to have these two big hearts in my life!
Valentines has evolved into the most memorable holiday for the Webkins family. Two years ago, Barb & I legally became wife and wife -- at least for a few months before the California Supreme Court tried to nullify that fact. But there is no erasing the anticipation we felt standing in line on Van Ness Street in front of San Francisco City hall for four hours, the love we felt from family and friends in the ensuing days and weeks as we announced our marriage and planned our celebratory party.
And one year ago today, Barb and were flying back from Las Vegas where we celebrated our first anniversary with Elton John and his Red Piano and we left a bunch of money. (Sin City has figured out how to steal from people like us who don't gamble...stock up the bling in the oh-so fashionable retail stores!) We were clueless that the very next day we would learn about a certain little boy named Jeremy who was looking for a family to love him.

I went back and read your blog, from the week when you learnt about Jeremy and when you took him home, how amazing and emotional for you both.
He is a very lucky little boy. :-)
